The Webbs building, located at Kingston Park Peterborough, straddles the edge of a 18m deep PFA filled pit. The site was formerly clay extraction pits for the brickworks which had been filled with PFA and capped with Clay.

The project was completed to a very tight programme due to the relocation of the showroom from Eye.

The foundation had to consider the potential for different movement across the near vertical face of the PFA filled pit, whilst remaining commercially viable. Working closely with the contractor’s supply chain, the project was successfully delivered.
